The Basics

2000 AD is published every Wednesday except for over the Christmas period when it takes a three week break. This is made up for with a scrotnig 100-page Christmas special. Subscribers receive 49 issues per year.

The Megazine is published every month and Subscribers receive 12 issues per year.

 

Print

Subscribers to 2000 AD and/or the Megazine have their issues sent out to them by post ahead of the official release date.

Subscriptions are available for 2000 AD, the Megazine, or both periodicals (known as a Combi subscription) for the following time periods:

• Monthly

Payment date on the same day every month.
Auto-renews until cancelled. 

• Annual

Payment date on the same day every month. Auto-renews until cancelled.
Payment due date set to 11 months on from initial payment to ensure no disruption to your delivered issues.
Option to turn off auto-renew.

• Two Year

Payment date on the same day every month. Auto-renews until cancelled.
Payment due date set to 11 months on from initial payment to ensure no disruption to your delivered issues.
Option to turn off auto-renew.

Subscriptions also come with added benefits: subscribers receive subscription gifts according to the time period they subscribed for, and a 50% off discount voucher for the 2000 AD, Treasury of British Comics and Roy of the Rovers webshops.

Shipping is included in the subscription price and calculated at checkout.

Every subscription has a unique number assigned to it. Always quote this number when contacting about any subscription related problem. 

 

It is not possible to have more than one print subscription:
if you wish to subscribe to both 2000 AD and the Megazine, you must purchase a Combi subscription.

 

Digital

Subscribers to 2000 AD and/or the Megazine have their issues automatically added to their 2000 AD account on the day of release.

Subscriptions are available for 2000 AD and the Megazine for the following time periods:

• Monthly
• Quarterly
• Annual

All digital subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled.
Cancellations can be actioned directly through the Subscription Management page if taken out directly with us.
If subscribed via a third party such as Google or Apple please do refer to their own Subscription Management service. 

Digital subscribers receive a 50% off discount voucher for the 2000 AD, Treasury of British Comics and Roy of the Rovers webshops; as well as free back issues when they first subscribe.

Monthly subscribers receive a month's worth of back issues; quarterly subscribers receive two months worth, and annual subscribers receive three months worth.

Please note that we do not offer a digital combi subscription. If you would like to subscribe to both 2000 AD and the Megazine, you will need to purchase both subscriptions from our webshop or through a third-party provider such as Google Play or Apple.

FAQs

How do I purchase a subscription?

Subscriptions are available to purchase from the 2000 AD webshop. When purchasing you will have opportunity to select a delivery address and recipient.

How much is shipping?

Cost of shipping is dependent on the country of delivery, and calculated at checkout. All subscription issues ship direct from our printers in the UK.

What packaging is used for subscription issues?

Subscription copies are sent straight from our printers in eco-friendly potato starch bags. These are completely compostable.

Can I start my subscription from an earlier issue?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Your subscription will always start with the upcoming release.

When will I receive my first issues?

Print

Our subscriber address list is sent to our printers two weeks in advance of every issue release; this means that when you start your subscription, your first two issues are sent out by our warehouse partners rather than direct from the printers. Subscribers usually receive their first issue within approximately a week. 

Digital

Digital subscribers receive their first issues instantly. You can find your first issues on the app or your Downloads page on the webshop. For more instructions on this, please visit our article 'How to start reading digitally?'.

Do the Megazine and 2000 AD both have Judge Dredd stories?

Yes, Judge Dredd stories are featured in both 2000 AD and the Megazine.

What happens if I have a problem?

If you have any kind of subscription troubles, our Customer Support team are on hand from Monday to Friday, 9am until 5pm. You can email us at subshelp@2000ad.com. If you are print subscriber, please remember to include your subscription number as this is very useful when finding your account.

Your subscription number is a unique code assigned to your subscription. It is always useful to provide this if you have any subscription related problems.

 

Print

You can find your subscription number by logging in to your 2000 AD account, going to the 'Account' page, and then 'Subscriptions':

Alternatively, your subscription number is also printed on the address slip of your subscription issues as the first line of the address section.

 

Digital

Digital subscriptions do not come with a subscription number. If you have any problems with your subscription and need to contact us, your subscription receipts will be the best thing to provide. Examples of these can be found here.

 

Physical Subscriptions

 

Our system does not allow customers to change subscription types: if you would like to subscribe to both 2000 AD and the Megazine, you will need to cancel your current subscription and then purchase a Combi subscription once the previous subscription has ended. The Combi subscription covers both the 2000 AD Prog & Judge Dredd Megazine, and is less expensive than buying the two subscriptions separately.

If you wish to remove 2000 AD or the Megazine from your subscription, please follow the same steps as above.

 

Digital Subscriptions 

It is not possible to add 2000 AD or the Megazine to a digital subscription. If you would like to subscribe to both, you will need to buy an additional subscription from our webshop or through a third-party provider such as Google Play or Apple.

Please note that we do not offer a digital combi subscription. 

Apologies if your issue has arrived damaged. We are happy to replace any products that arrive in poor condition.

Please email us (subshelp@2000ad.com) or send us a message via our contact form with your subscription number and photographs of the damage. We will then organise a replacement to be sent out to you.

Discount vouchers are digitally assigned to your account - there is no code to copy and paste!

You can view your vouchers by logging into your account and visiting the 'Voucher Codes & Discounts' page via 'My Account'.

 

Your voucher will automatically apply to your basket when you get to the 'review' step of the checkout process, but you can remove it at that step should you wish to retain it for a future purchase. 

Please bear in mind that vouchers are limited to one use, and some products are excluded from discount such as: subscriptions, bundles, limited edition items, Webshop Exclusives and t-shirts/external merchandise.

The physical subscriber gifts are sent out to you within a week of purchasing your new subscription. You will be notified via email once they dispatch.

Physical Subscriptions

If you would like to cancel your physical subscription, you can do so by emailing us at subshelp@2000ad.com or by using our contact form, quoting your subscription number. We may need to ask you a GDPR question to confirm your identity before a cancellation request can be submitted.

Please note that all physical subscription cancellations need to be requested 14 days before their renewal date. 

An annual or two-year print subscription cannot be cancelled in the first 12 months, except in exceptional circumstances. After the first 12 months, if a subscription is cancelled, the subscriber will be refunded any monies owed after their last issue is received.

 

Digital Subscriptions

We are unable to cancel digital subscriptions for you. If you bought your subscription through our website, you can cancel it directly, from the subscription management page.

If you bought your subscription through a third party such as Apple or Google Play, the subscription must be cancelled with them.
